Meet Emily
Emily is a Pennsylvania native who has lived all over the East/ South East (notably Georgia and Louisiana). In 2020 Emily started her own small business as a travel agent and became a contractor with Smart Moms Travel-
5 years later Emily’s entire life has changed. In that time, Emily built a successful small business, became a single parent to two boys, lost over 120 pounds, and has learned to live life to the fullest. You’ll catch her enjoying the outdoors, monster in hand, with ALL her favorite people.
Known on Tiktok and Instagram as Those Traveling Ears, Emily has built a great community that follow her for travel, the real life of motherhood, and discovering yourself. In addition to running her own small business, Emily established a team, The Earfam, with Smart Moms and is the team leader of 30 women plus mentees. Emily is also the Smart Mom’s Facebook Group Assistant Manager for their main group of over 500,000 people in addition to running multiple smaller Facebook groups of various topics.
Meet Rhyan
Rhyan is an East Coast transplant originally born and raised in Washington state. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 3 children together. While Washington and the PNW will always hold a piece of her heart, after leaving military life they planted roots in the Maryland/DC metro area. Rhyan joined Smart Moms Travel and has been running her own small business as a travel agent since 2022. When she’s not working, you’ll find her reading, coaching softball, helping with Scouts, and enjoying time with friends and family!
Known on Tiktok and Instagram as Pretty with the Pen, Rhyan has a mixed following with content ranging from travel, books, motherhood, and more. In addition to running her own small business, Rhyan is also The Earfam’s team executive and social media manager. Additionally, she is a virtual assistant to multiple full-time clients while also offering many single-service administrative tasks for hire. She is a Facebook/Meta fanatic and manages multiple Facebook groups and Meta Business Suite portfolios.
